In one word: Yes. The best use I have found so far is definitely traffic.  I’m sending my links directly to hundreds of people everyday who are interested in my products, and the result is a flood of traffic.  It’s faster and easier than any SEO work I’ve ever done, and way cheaper than PPC.

Like many powerful pieces of software it’s important to not go crazy all at once.  Don’t try to get 10,000 followers by tomorrow.  Just take your time and go slowly.  I never follow more than 300 people in a day and I’ve never had an account get banned.  Others have mentioned doing 400 a day.  The key here is to take it “slow”.  Besides you can easily just set up another account, and have it contact a completely different 400 people anyway
