Not Outsourcing, but Free Content

I recently started a blog in the health niche, and I added a Guest Blogger page to open the page up to people wanting to post articles in exchange for content.

My results have been awesome.  I’m getting 1-2 requests per week on average.  (some weeks none)

The only rule I have set is that the content must be 100% unique and no more than 2 links are allowed to sites that I approve of being articles are submitted.  Linking out to bad sites can hurt the quality of your site, so I don’t link to any bad sites.

But I’m getting a consistent flow of people “doing the work” for me on the blog which is great.

So if you’re a niche blogger in several niches, I’d highly recommend adding a guest blogging page to your blog to let people find your site.

Just remember, you’re in control and not to point links out to shady sites.

    Hi Victor,

Just bought a couple of your reports.

I haven’t been using ‘profile linking’ you described in ‘Backlinks Bombshell’. I intend to test them for a new site I’m now setting up for traffic.

I also like your idea of adding a ‘Guest Blogger’ page. You wouldn’t know about a WP widget for setting it up, would you?

Anyways, continued good luck from your hard work.
    Stay casual,
    Edward ‘Mr Ed’ Thorpe

    Hey Ed,

Thanks for stoppin by! Your idea about a widget sounds like a great idea, though I’ve just used the Contact Form 7 wp plugin.
